COVID-19 SAFETY NOTICE
GALA remains diligent in ensuring that the safety and security of our attendees, speakers and staff are top priority while planning the conference. As we move ahead with planning the conference, GALA will continue to place high importance on facilitating measures that will ensure optimal health and sanitary conditions for everyone onsite. COVID-19 state rules and regulations will be strictly followed.
Our onsite safety measures include the following:
-
Social distancing will be strictly followed with a limited number of attendees onsite.
-
Attendees must wear a face covering during the event.
-
Attendees are required to be six feet apart at all times; the conference organizers have arranged seating accordingly to be in compliance with this mandate.
-
Hand sanitizer stations have been placed throughout the meeting space, as well as in the hotel.
-
Signage is being used throughout the meeting space and hotel as a reminder to wear a mask and maintain social distance.
-
Commonly touched surfaces will be cleaned and disinfected by staff as often as possible.
-
Check-in for the event will be socially distanced and managed by the conference organizers for a “touchless” process.
-
Audience questions will be asked through our conference app to eliminate contact through handheld microphones.
-
To ensure the safety of our speakers, in between speaker presentations, there will be a slight delay while the podium, slide advancer, and microphone cover are sanitized.
-
All meals and break items will be served by the hotel staff in accordance with their individual COVID-19 safety procedures and standards.
